Only two hours from Glasgow and a short 40 minute ferry journey from Oban is the Isle of Mull. An island of outstanding beauty, Mull is the third largest of the Hebrides and was described by bard Dugald MacPhail, as,

In the north west corner of Mull is the capital town of Tobermory. Tobermory is a very pretty, harbour side, cluster of brightly coloured houses and shops.

Tobermory Bay is a well known haven for yachts and an excellent anchorage. The popular pre-school television series Balamory was filmed here and the town also has a high school with an outstanding reputation.
